Unexpectedly, had my own little Blade Show Texas today at my local knife shop (TKC Knives in Spurger, Texas) about an hour away. The Trapper has bricks from an old Western Auto in the area, the biggest one is a Southern Grind Bad Monkey with an Emerson opener and a 4 inch blade and then there is the GEC! Had never seen a GEC in person before so bought it and found out it is actually a prototype from 2008 with paperwork in the tube. Will definitely be trying to find more info on that one.
